We support children by providing them with the school supplies they need to be successful throughout the school year.
Whether in the classroom or at home, Operation Back to School is committed to providing children in Washington and Multnomah county with the school supplies they need. By directly distributing fully loaded backpacks to culturally specific organizations and organizations serving culturally specific populations, these programs have the latitude that they need to engage families in the most relevant and responsive way to ensure greater access to these supplies. By removing this particular financial burden, underserved families in these two counties have additional tools to support their families and make the transition into the upcoming school one step easier.
Our Mission
Donating to Operation Back to School is easy! After providing over 530+ children in 2019 with fully loaded backpacks, we want to almost double our impact in 2020 by providing 2000+ backpack! Given the raising need for support during this time of year, we want to increase our impact in Washington and Multnomah counties
